Oh hello there! I love alllll my blog posts, but for some reason I’m just a little extra excited about today’s! I guess it’s kind of in part because it brings back such great memories from my recent trip and also in part because it’s just such a great find! When I was in Boulder over Memorial Day Weekend I stumbled upon an Outdoor Voices tent selling their new spring line. It was so nice to meet some people who work for such an amazing company!
I loved my leggings and crop by Outdoor Voices so much that when I heard they came out with running shorts, adding them to my wardrobe was a no brainer! I went with the light blue/teal combo Hudson shorts and LOVE them! Wow, what have I been doing messing around with other shorts until now? While Lululemon and Athleta (the usual brands I buy from) have nice shorts, these Outdoor Voices ones are just so. much. better! Honestly I don’t know exactly what it is about these shorts that makes them so much better, but embarrassingly enough I can’t stop wearing them! I even wore them 3 days in a row out in Colorado. Eek! That’s gross, I know. But I just couldn’t pass them up for an inferior option.
Alrighty, keeping to my honesty theme here, I’m a bit tired and have had some wine so I’m going to sign off now. Check out these shorts, seriously! Do yourself a favor, you’ll thank me later!
You should know— I’m wearing a size xs in shorts. I could get away with the small, but the xs fits perfectly in my opinion, it all just depends on how you like your shorts to fit. Also, these shorts are outfitted with not one but two pockets! One zipper pocket for your keys or credit card or extra hair ties (I dunno, maybe?), and a second pocket in the front of your waistband that can hold your phone if you really need to. (Although I wouldn’t use this pocket to hold my phone on a regular basis).
I’ve linked my outfit details here: shorts • crop • hair ties • water bottle (similar pattern, mine is old)…Happy Wednesday!
