Hello hello! How’s everyone hanging in there? There is nothing new going on here… and I guess now more than ever, no news is good news. So yay for not having anything new to share with ya! Ranger & I just keep doing our #quarantinekitchen sessions each day (check them out here in case you’re curious what I’m talking about) and we go for our walks (staying far away from people the whole time!). Other than that, we’ve been watching lots of Netflix (only at night!) and YES we’re obsessed with Tiger King. If you haven’t started watching Tiger King, then what are you waiting for?! It’s SO good! (And when I say so good, I mean it’s so bad it’s good. Ha!). Now let’s talk about my favorite luxury slippers, Birdies!

Why I Love My Birdies

Birdies are so stylish and chic that you can definitely wear them outside the home, and I think some are designed to be, but I love mine so much I don’t want to risk ruining them! My Birdies were comfortable from the moment I took them out of the box. Yay! Don’t you just love when that happens? My mom got a different pair that look more like loafers and she had to wear hers in a little. Now she says they are very comfortable!

Especially now with more people working at home, some days (not everyday, but some) we want to get dressed and feel like a real person. Am I right? With that being said, it just doesn’t feel right being all dressed up in a pair of fuzzy socks. (I personally don’t wear shoes in my house, especially with the way things are now!) I always make a point of getting dressed, even if that just means throwing on a pair of leggings and a t-shirt, and then slipping on my Birdies. Doing so, I instantly feel more put together! They’re not just house shoes or slippers, they’re a change in mindset.
