Guys! My parents and I have so much fun together, they’re never getting rid of me! My mom and I recently went to Bar 65 at The Rainbow Room and had such an amazing time! Unfortunately, my dad was working so he wasn’t able to join. Bar 65 has been on my radar for a while since every morning on my commute I walk by Rockefeller Center, where they are advertising their Harvest Moon pop-up bar (with seasonal inspired drinks). Um hello, that sounded awesome, so we went!

It’s SUPER important to know that Bar 65/The Rainbow Room is business casual so no ripped denim and men have to wear collared shirts. It’s kind of funny because I didn’t own ripped jeans until this past summer, and since I’ve been trying to dress my age I decided to wear my ripped jeans with a fun black blouse. Of course, the one time I don’t dress proper it counts against me! It was an easy fix though, I just hopped down to J Crew (located on the same block) and grabbed a new pair of pants.

Here are my thoughts on Bar 65’s pop-up Harvest Moon Bar… it’s not really a pop-up bar, it’s actually just a pop-up cocktail menu, but it’s at a bar that is clearly there year-round. With that being said, the drink I had was amazing! The Big Apple: apple liqueur, maple syrup, champagne, cinnamon brown sugar. The atmosphere is really up-beat and you get to roam around the bar area and the terrace outside, which provides amazing views of central park and the city! Lots of people pay to go to The Top of the Rock, and what, that costs $20/person? Here you get almost to the top (free) and then all you have to do is spend $15-20 on a drink. Shoutout to my personal finance professor back in college, thanks for teaching me how to spend my money wisely!

the scoop: I’m wearing a small in this Ella Moss blouse, so I would say it’s true to size // These J.Crew pants are a size 25. As you’re already aware, I wore these out of the store (ha), but I would suggest washing before first wear because they were a little itchy. // These Jack Roger booties run true to size, I’m wearing size 7
