Happy Friday! I’ve featured this bag a few times now, and for good reason, I love it! Honestly I never buy $22 handbags on Amazon, or from anywhere…but I had a gift card and was in the market for a bag that I could just throw my laptop into, maybe a few other necessities, and just go. I’ve contemplated splurging for a LV Neverfull tote for a few months now, but ultimately decided against it. They’re just seen everywhere now and I hate to say it, but most of the ones you see are probably just knock-offs. What’s the point in paying over $1000 for a bag that people will look at and assume it’s a fake? Maybe I’m wrong…? What do you think?
So anyway, I went back and forth between buying a SUPER nice everyday tote bag (this Burberry one was on my radar for a while, but $2000 for a tote bag is a little excessive). Okay, a lot excessive. My mom definitely tried to talk me into getting though so she could borrow it! Not a good influence! Just kidding, love you mom!
I’m glad I decided to take a chance on this super inexpensive bag. Is the quality great? Well…the quality is slightly higher than what you’d expect for a $22 bag. I mean, if you went to The Gap or somewhere comparable and bought a tote there for $50 or so, it’d probably be the same quality as this one.
Will it hold up? Yes, I actually think this bag could last me a couple years even if I do put it through the ringer (which I typically do with my tote bags). They kind of always get plopped on the ground somewhere, or rub up against something dirty, and so on. You get it? And luckily with this bag I won’t have to be upset if it gets a scratch in it, because hey, $22!
What does it fit? My sister (who is on a college budget) texted me right after I posted this bag for the first time and was so excited I’d found something inexpensive because she wanted something to lug her books/laptop to class. I Facetimed her later that day to show her all the stuff you can fit in this tote: a laptop (check), a few books (check), misc. knick-knacks (check). This bag is by no means heavy duty, and the straps are thin, so to save your shoulders from serious pain I wouldn’t load it up too much, but you can easily put your laptop in here along with a notebook or two for class, or work, and be on your merry way.
P.S. This bag comes in so many other colors! Outfit details below…
