I hope you guys had a great weekend! I surprised my boyfriend with Death Cab for Cutie concert tickets on Saturday night (it’s still unclear whether he knew all along or not…oh well, I tried my best!) and afterwards we detoured through the city for dinner (at Carroll Place) and some dancing (at Le Poisson Rouge). We met up with my mom and her three best friends from college at LPR and it was such a blast! I’d been dying to go there for the past couple of years, and the experience didn’t disappoint. A huge thank you to Janet for bumping us up to “VIP”!!

Last week I attended Sail to Sable’s #SetSailSummer Party co-hosted with Palm Beach Lately and it was even more amazing than I could have imagined. Jack Rogers, Monogram Mary, and Kearsley Lloyd were also part of the event. It was really an all-star lineup, guests included! Sail to Sable flew in bloggers from all over the country to kick of summer the right way in Rowayton, CT. So many of these bloggers I’d been following on Instagram for the past couple of years. To be able to meet them in person was like a dream!

I had so much fun hanging out with new blogger friends, sipping rosé, and celebrating Sail to Sable. The brand, and owner Jen, have a lot to celebrate! Jen started Sail to Sable back in 2012 and since then the brand has grown from a local favorite to being nationally (and internationally-hello Caribbean) recognized and adored.

You guys know how much I love local brands and businesses, Sail to Sable will always hold a special place in my heart. Their support of my blog has meant so much to me. Having a brand that aligns so well with your lifestyle and personality believe in you is such an amazing feeling! I definitely don’t have everything figured out, but things like this reassure me that I’m moving in the right direction.
