Best Friends by Sheri Donut Cuddler-

This bed is p e r f e c t !! I don’t even want to admit how much time I spent online trying to find the best dog bed out there that wouldn’t be an eyesore in the living room. Our apartment is pretty cozy, so with the little space we do have I didn’t want it to be taken up by some ugly, neon pink dog bed. The Donut Cuddler in Frost fits in perfectly with our decor, and could easily pass as a floor cushion. When it arrived in the mail and I felt it for the first time my initial reaction was, ummm why doesn’t my bed feel like this?!

I really can’t say enough good things here. I’m confident that the reason why it only took 3 nights for me to crate train Ranger is thanks to this bed. No joke! That’s why I’m dedicating a whole post to the crate training process and how this bed played a major role (keep an eye out for this post in early October!). For now let me just leave you with this, this bed can easily be placed on the couch next to you or a car seat or on your bed, and it fits perfectly in a dog crate. Considering Ranger is only 2.5lbs right now, she has plenty of room to grow into her bed!

Choice Pets-

For all my local friends, Choice Pets is the place to go! I love ordering stuff online as much as the next person, but there’s also plenty of times I need to run to a store and grab something. At the end of the day we all love Amazon, but Amazon can’t replace in-person interactions and advice, which is exactly what you get at Choice Pets with their super knowledgable staff. Each time I’ve gone into Choice Pets I’ve been greeted by their lovely staff who are all really invaluable for a new puppy owner.

I mean, let’s talk puppy food! I did so much research online trying to figure out what food I should buy my puppy and ughhh is it conflicting! Some websites say if you don’t feed your puppy grain free then you’re a bad person, other websites say puppies need grain for digestion! Thank goodness I had Choice Pet’s awesome expertise to help me choose the best food for Ranger. (And no surprise, Ranger loves it!)

I don’t just go into Choice Pets for dog food though, I get all of Ranger’s treats and teething products and gosh, whatever else she needs! Ranger’s needs and interests are constantly changing, especially with teething! I feel like Ranger is always needing new things to gnaw on. One day she’ll be loving some green teething thing, and the next she’ll want nothing to do with it! Ah! I can’t keep up! The last time I was at Choice Pets I bought an armful of products to hopefully cover my bases for the next few weeks. Wish us luck! So far so good though! The guy that helped me showed me a few options, but felt certain that the lamb horn chew would be best suited for Ranger’s teething. Of course when we got home and I showed Ranger all her new chews, she immediately went for the lamb horn!

Earthbath Bath Products- 

Not even joking, the Earthbath’s Ultra Mild Puppy Shampoo and Oatmeal & Aloe Conditioner smell better than my hair products! No wonder why Ranger always looks so good! I actually tried both of these products out on myself before using them on Ranger. What can I say? I was curious! (You’re probably wondering now if I tried her food too…noo not that curious). Back to the bath though, I can tell you that these products leave Ranger squeaky clean! She doesn’t itch after her baths, which is a great sign that her bath products are safe and aren’t irritating her skin. One of the things I love about Earthbath, and one of the reasons why I was so excited to partner with them is that their products are made in the USA, are organic, natural, non-toxic, paraben & sulfate free! Mooshiepets-

What an amazing online boutique! Mooshiepets is awesome! They’ve been so incredible to me and Ranger, thanks guys! I LOVEEE their carefully curated selection of high-end products, many of which are all-natural, or recycled, or made in the USA! How cool?! They sent us a whole box of fun goodies, and I’ll make sure to share them all with you in time, but right now I’m going to highlight just a few, although it’s been hard to choose since Ranger loves everything!

First off is Ranger’s favorite activity- brushing her teeth! Mooshiepets sent Ranger the cutest little dental care kit for puppies and it is 100% Ranger approved. Ranger would brush her teeth for 20 minutes a day if I let her. She loves the taste of the toothpaste and the toothbrush is soft enough for her puppy teeth, but also durable enough for her teething stages! The best part- it’s organic!!!

Mooshiepets sent Ranger a few different toys and she loves all of them! They have so many fun options on their website! I personally think there’s nothing cuter than this gingham bone plush toy that Ranger is constantly playing with (pictured in this post). It has a squeaker in the center of the toy (but funny enough, Ranger isn’t strong enough yet to squeak the toy with her jaw, so I squeak it and throw it for her). Believe it or not, Ranger is a superb at playing fetch! Right away she would run her toys back to me, and this gingham bone is one of her favorites to fetch with.

One last thing I wanted to highlight that Mooshiepets sent us were these Harry Barker leashes, which are super stylish and also made out of recycled water bottles. I’m not 100% certain on this, but it seems to me that the leashes are pretty lightweight because of their recycled material, but still super durable! Ranger has tried to chew her way through these leashes time and time again, and they still look brand new!

TUG Leash-

Do you know how many dog leashes are on the internet? Too many too count! I feel like retractable leashes sometimes get a bad reputation for getting tangled. Well, not TUG Leash! TUG leashes have a patented design that prevents the leash from ever getting tangled while you retract it. Ranger and I use this leash at least 10x a day (each time I take her outside) and it hasn’t once failed us! It’s also super well made and comfortable to hold. What initially caught my attention was TUG’s sleek design and simple look. It’s really the coolest looking retractable leash out there. Obviously that’s not the most important part though; it’s so easy to say this leash checks off all the boxes!

This leash comes in three different sizes (small, medium, and large) so make sure you find the right one for your furry friend on Amazon! Ranger is using the small, but that kind of goes without saying!
