Now that we’ve “sprung forward” I think it’s appropriate for me to share my Spring Bucket List! Did anyone else stay out to watch the sunset last night?! I LOVE how it was bright out past 5:00pm! It’s the little things, right? I always love sharing my seasonal bucket lists with you guys and I always get such a great response from you all! Let me know what is on your Spring Bucket List, or if you add any of my ideas to yours!
I’ve decided to break my bucket list into a couple of different categories: home, adventure, and personal. Keep scrolling to check out what’s in each of them!
HIKE up to McAfee’s Knob and watch the sunrise. For those of you who aren’t Roanoke Alums, McAfee’s Knob is one of the most beautiful lookout points on the entire Appalachian Trail. It also just happens to be a short drive down the road from the cabin I’m renting with a few friends for alumni weekend. So this year’s Alumni Weekend in April seems like the perfect time for me to hike up there and watch the sunrise, something I’ve always wanted to do!
PLAN an overnight trip up to Mohonk Preserve & stay at the Hasbrouck House. I also want to go to the cutest old-school diner while I’m up there. Who doesn’t love a good diner?
BRUNCH at the LadyFinger Tea Lounge up in Newburyport, MA. It’s part of the Garrison Inn and this tea lounge is like something out of a movie! It’s all pink, feminine, and 100% glamorous! I’m not even embarrassed to admit that I really just want the photos/experience, but the brunch looks pretty darn good too!
ENJOY a Champagne Picnic. Ummmm who wants to come? Even better, I think I’ll have my champagne picnic at the beach! If you see me at Todd’s Point, feel free to join!
SHOP at a farmer’s market. I haven’t been able to find a good farmers market near me yet, but as part of my spring bucket list, I’m willing to travel for a great one! The best farmer’s market I’ve ever been to so far was out in Boulder, CO. It was AMAZING! Hopefully I can find something half as good out here on the east coast.
CLEAN out my inbox! Have you ever spring-cleaned your inbox? It’s about time for me to go in and unsubscribe from all that unnecessary clutter.
PLANT some flowers & maybe even some veggies on my porch. Growing up I lived in 3 acres and we had this HUGE garden. Each summer my mom and dad would put their hearts into it and we’d get to eat all these fresh fruits and veggies from our backyard! It was amazing! I don’t have space for a full garden, but I’d love to add a couple of pots to my porches!
PAINT my bedroom, the guest bedroom, and the front door. These painting projects have been haunting me for the past couple of months. Each time it rains I say okay, today is the day I hunker down and get this done. And each time it rains I somehow make excuses for it not to happen! Oops! Fortunately/unfortunately the master bedroom is HUGE, making it no small feat.
ORDER a sectional. Remember how I said I decided on a sectional a week or so ago? Well… I still haven’t pulled the trigger and ordered one yet. It’s such a big decision! Send help!
HOST a boozy brunch at the new place! Believe it or not, aside from my family members I haven’t really had anyone over to the new place yet. That’s why hosting a little boozy brunch is on my spring bucket list! Now the question is… what’s your favorite Prosecco?
LAUNCH an exciting new chapter to Style Inherited! It’s nothing too too extraordinary, but it is something I’ve been working on for quite some time now (over a year!).
EXPAND my Pinterest & RewardStyle consultations. Over the past two years I’ve been helping my friends out with Pinterest and RewardStyle all. the. time. I love doing it! It’s something I really enjoy doing! This spring I’ve decided to branch out from just helping my friends over coffee, and now I’m accepting new clients! My current clients are seeing great success with their accounts and I can’t wait to help more people! What’s one thing YOU want to branch out and do more of this spring?
WORK on bettering one skill. I think I’d like to get better at flower arrangements this spring! I LOVE flower arrangements and I actually took a class one time at Nielsen’s Florist, but I still think there is room for improvement!

A great list of goals..
I use Unroll.me for unsubscribing to emails and it makes it all so easy and free.
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have to check that out!! 🙂
Oh my gosh after reading your lists, I realized I’ve got a lot of work to do! By the way, how is it that you help with Rewardstyle? I’d love to know and get more info!
Hi Delia! Definitely not a comparison game here, if your spring is a little more laid back, all the more power to you!! I’ll send you an email with some ways I’m helping my current clients on RewardStyle!
OK I hadn’t even thought about it but I guess my spring bucket list would be to continue getting in shape so maybe I can wear a bikini this summer hahaha! But on a serious note, I’ve been working so much and I feel I’ve almost been overworking so I think I need to take a little break after spring cleaning my closets!
Sounds like you NEED and DESERVE a break! Good for you, make sure you take one 🙂
I should definitely make my own list! I have to do some painting around our new place, so I hope to get that done too.
Once you’re done painting your place, come do mine! Ha! Just kidding… mostly… Yes, definitely make your own list, it’s fun to see how many things you can check off!
Can I join you on your adventures? Those sound spectacular to me! I love ALL of these amazing ideas for the springtime, and you’re inspiring me to create my own bucket list for this upcoming season. It’s not my favorite because it means warm weather (which I thoroughly dislike) but the extended sunny hours are lovely!
Ah! Thanks Stephanie, you definitely should make a Spring Bucket List! I’d love to hear what is on yours. And I’m also so excited for longer sunny days, it’ll be so nice!
Ah! I live in Lynchburg, which isn’t far away. There are so many great places to hike!! I’m trying to get our basement apartment converted to an Airbnb, so that’s an adventure all its own for the spring. It’s already got a few dates booked, so I’m on a time crunch for sure. Ha!!
I LOVE Lynchburg! I looked at going to school there, but ended up down the road at Roanoke. That’s an exciting project, I can’t wait to find out how it turns out! Congrats!
What a great bucket list! Can I come to the champagne brunch?!
Of course!!
A pink tea lounge?? Yes, please! I’m all for that and need to add that to my bucket list! 😉
Right?! I might want to move in!
I had so many things on my Bucket list for this year, but Corona came and messed up with everything. Maybe I need a new one for the summer, cause I hope it will make up for the bad beginning of the year.
Agreed! I’m going to have to revamp my Spring bucket list for Summer, I should make an at-home bucket list though and share that with you guys!
