Good morning! Let’s talk morning routines! This a no-judgement zone, so if your mornings these days start at 11:00am, that’s fine! Regardless of when you wake up, you should make a point of having a morning routine. No one’s perfect, and I’m certainly not, but I promise you’ll feel much more refreshed and energized with a morning routine in place!
Step 1: Decide what you want your morning routine to look like. Whether it’s taking some time to journal, making a nice big breakfast, doing a yoga class, or going for a run… the opportunities are endless! The important thing here is to map out what your morning routine should look like and then try your best to stick with it!
Pro Tip: once you decide what you want your morning routine to look like, write it down. Anywhere works! A journal, on your phone, on a post it note stuck to the fridge… Check in with your morning routine list each morning to hold yourself accountable.
Step 2: Start your morning off with liquids! This is a must! Most mornings I’ll start off with a cold glass of water to wake me up. Fun fact: I don’t drink coffee! Never have! If you’re a coffee drinker, then go for it! (But also make sure you drink water!) Personally, I’m a tea-drinker, especially in the colder months. Your morning routine should be treated like it’s sacred, and well, it kind of is! Invest in yourself and invest in your morning routine. Here are some of my other favorites below!
