Hi Everyone! Still in Colorado and loving it! I’m heading back to Boulder today after a quick little trip to Steamboat Springs, CO! I love being able to come out to CO for an extended trip and having the ability to travel within the state to explore new places! Steamboat Springs is somewhere I’ve wanted to travel to for a while now, they’re known for hot air balloon festivals, hot springs, skiing, and of course, hiking! While we’re missing the hot air balloon festival, which happens a little later in the summer, we definitely got to enjoy the hiking and hot springs along with the charming little downtown! (Don’t worry, I’ll have a much more in-depth recap of this trip within the next week or so!)

While I realize college graduations have passed by now, high school graduations and Memorial Day weekend are both right around the corner! I’m sharing my college graduation dress with you guys today along with some other dresses that I hope will help inspire your graduation and/or Memorial Day weekend outfits! My cousin Adrianna graduates high school in a month and ahh! I’m so excited for her, I can’t wait to see what dress she decides to wear to graduation! Or maybe she’ll need my help picking one…who knows!

It’s no secret that graduation and white dresses go hand-in-hand. Of course not everyone decides to stick to the traditional white dress look for graduations, I am a firm believe in doing so! Plus investing in a more formal, yet versatile white dress is really something that you’re going to get a lot of use out of over the years. If you choose right this dress can serve you in so many other ways over the next many years! Here’s just a few that come to mind…college graduation, Easter, en blanc parties, bridal shower, baby shower, date night, engagement photos, the list goes on!

My first stop when looking for dresses is almost always Club Monaco. I know they’re on the pricier side, but they often have sales (especially in the summer- right now they’re having 25% off!) and if you really play it right you can get last season’s dress (like the one I’m wearing!) on sale for a great price! The main reason why I love Club Monaco so much (and am constantly singing their praises on here) is simple: sizing. It’s not easy for me to find a dress that fits without needing alterations. Sure I could find an inexpensive dress at Zara or Gap or H&M, but then I’m going to spend $100-$150 to get it tailored! No thanks! Instead I prefer to find a dress that really fits me well, is super high quality, isn’t see-through, and isn’t going to require that annoying visit to the tailor.

A very similar version of my Club Monaco dress is on sale right now for $150!! I think that’s a great price for a dress you can wear over and over again! I understand not everyone wants to pay that much for a dress, which is why I linked a bunch more affordable options below! I know this whole post has been mainly focused on graduation dress ideas, but hello, white dresses are great for memorial day! Just dress it up with some blue and white accessories to make yourself patriotic! How simple!
