Happy Fourth of July! I love America’s birthday! This is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons, but especially since it almost always involves a day at the beach, lots of rosé, and most importantly: family time! This year I actually don’t have any plans, no parties, not even a picnic on the horizon, but that’s okay! I’m just excited to have a relaxing day with my mom. A Wednesday with no plans?! Crazy!

This week I’m doing the whole 9 to 5 thing. It’s pretty easy to get used to NOT having to do the 9 to 5 thing, but honestly, sometimes I really enjoy having a routine and I always enjoy getting to work with my mom! Anyway, on Monday I kicked off this week’s office attire with my best attempt at beating the heat. In case you missed it, CT is in an extremely humid heat wave this week. I’m talking around 95-100 degrees each day. I’m sweaty just thinking about how hot it is going to be tomorrow! Of course the no-brainer outfit would have been a light and airy sundress, which I had on until I got foundation on it. Oops. So backup outfit #2 was a white/cream roomy ensemble with my go-to Club Monaco pants and a white, linen button-down. (Both are on SUPER SALE right now!) I don’t have any great pictures of my work outfit, but I’ve linked the exact items along with similar items below! What I do have though are plenty of beach pics in my work shirt turned beach cover up. Can you say genius?!

My bikini (top • bottom) (which is hands down my favorite bikini) is from L.Space!! I bought mine at Everything But Water on Greenwich Ave, a great place to pop in for all things resort related, as long as you’re willing to spend a pretty penny!
