Oh hey Monday, is that you, already?! I had a great weekend with my mom! We hit up the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival (our first time) and wow, what a fun event! We initially were drawn to the GWFF because of the Tim McGraw concert that headlines the event, but TBH we both left feeling like Tim McGraw didn’t give it his all. With that being said…we definitely felt like the GA tickets (which cost $210) were so worth it! We definitely got our money’s worth!
Anyway, enough about my weekend! If you follow me on Instagram then you already probably heard me raving about Dudley Stephens, which is this local, mom-run clothing companies that reinvented fleece. I feel like we all have that fleece that we grab for reluctantly. It’s warm, it’s soft, but it’s kind of an eye sore. Well….Dudley Stephens has completely changed that! Their fleece products, which are manufactured right in Brooklyn, NY (how cool!) are stylish without compromising on comfort. Yes, really!
I ordered a few different products, and ended up keeping the Navy Cobble Hill Turtleneck in an XS. Its longer length is perfect to wear over leggings for an elevated athleisure look, but I’ve also seen it styled more formal by layering the sweater over a skirt or dress. I definitely plan on doing this soon to show you how well it works!
While Dudley Stephens products are a bit more pricey than you’d expect for fleece, they are super high quality, and made in America! Luckily, Dudley Stephens has been having some great promotions in conjunction with local mom bloggers, which is pretty cool! If you follow them on Instagram and subscribe to their newsletter than you’ll most likely be in the loop for when these 20% off discounts come around. 20% off is huge and they don’t happen that often, so when you see one, jump on it!
Anyway, keep scrolling for outfit details and sizing recommendations!
top: Dudley Stephens • leggings: Lululemon • sneakers: Steve Madden • bag: Longchamp
*Sizing* I’m wearing the XS in the DS top. I can fit a Lululemon long-sleeve top comfortably underneath, but honestly it’s so soft and warm that you don’t really need any layers! The small was a bit too big on me in my opinion. I also got a vest in an XS (but returned it) and that sizing was perfect.
