A Little Thank You Giveaway!
Happy Monday! I finally reached over 1000 followers on Instagram and I’m at 5,500 blog views! These might seem like small milestones to some, but it’s definitely a big deal for me over here! I started blogging back in September so I’m coming up on eight months of publishing blog posts three times a week and posting to Instagram daily. It’s a lot of work…and I love it! I realize there are so many other bloggers out there, many of whom have probably grown to over 10,000 followers in the time it took me to get to 1000, and while a lot of other bloggers can let this get them down, I just like to focus on myself and stay positive!
Blogging isn’t my career, it’s my hobby. It’s what I LOVE to do. It is a pretty involved hobby, a pretty expensive hobby, but writing is what I’m passionate about and blogging is a great way for me to exercise my creativity. Do I day dream about making money blogging? Sure! Who doesn’t? Of course that would be amazing, but I’m really happy with where I am now. I’m grateful to be able to have the ability to blog and share styles and experiences with you guys! As always, I’m always open to any feedback/critiques/comments! Thank you for sticking around!

Hi Helen! I’m new here. I know the pain of acne all too well. I had horrible cystic acne on my back and chest for years. Thankfully I was able to take Accutane and have it actually work for me, but I worry every day that it will come back. I am not ashamed to say I have cried in front of more doctors and dermatologists than I can count. My heart truly goes out to anyone struggling with acne.
So far my favorite thing about Style Inherited is ‘Shop My Looks’. I am always searching for fun new outfits and style inspiration. As for something I would like to see more of… how about recipes? I noticed in your ‘About’ section that your father is a chef and you love cooking. It might be fun to do some sort of father-daughter cooking series.

And wow, I’m sorry about your journey with acne, but am so glad that you have resolved it (hopefully forever!). I’m a bit scared to try Accutane to be honest. The sugar-free diet I’m on now seems to have helped my cystic acne A LOT, but I miss sugar, A LOT too! So it’s a struggle!
