I hope your holiday weekend was nice! I had a very laid back weekend with my sister home from college, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. With that being said, I’m definitely upping my Easter game next year with a full-out dinner. Decorations and all! If I did have plans this weekend then I would have worn something like this! I love the glitter thread detailing in this Joie halter top. This top is flirty and feminine, my favorite! But if you want to add a little edge then throw on a safari jacket or a Motto jacket. This Free People jacket has been part of my wardrobe since high school…oh my gosh…6 years!
Let’s talk accessories…this wicker wristlet from Urban Outfitters is so cute! But…it’s really small. You can fit lipstick and maybe a quarter in it. If you had a burner phone, well, maybe that too. I think it’ll be a return on my end, but if you’re looking for something to carry around just to add a little something to your outfit, then this wicker wristlet at $30 is a great accessory! As for my shoes- I’ve always had a great experience with Nine West shoes. They’re really inexpensive and 99% of the time Nine West shoes are comfy! I’ve been needing a pair of nude heels since high school (I wish I was joking!) and somehow I’ve survived without any all through college through now. These sandals have a flat front, which was a trend in what? The 90’s? Anyway, this flat-toe trend is back and I’m on it! What are your thoughts on the flat-toe trend? Lemme know!
I’m heading down to North Carolina tomorrow to visit with my Grandma for two weeks, then I’ll be heading back to my alma mater for Alumni Weekend! You can bet I’ll be repping this outfit if it’s warm enough in Virginia! Happy Monday!
