Hello from the Finger Lakes! This is my first time up in this part of New York and I’m LOVING it! The leaves are already starting to change, the views of Seneca Lake are stunning, and the weather is just perfect… what more can a girl ask for?! I have to give a huge thank you to the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel for putting me up for the next 2 days. I’m already so impressed by their attention to detail here and the safety precautions they’re taking. Keep scrolling to find out what I packed for my Empire State road trip!

Pictured below is my travel outfit turned dinner outfit for our first night here. I just swapped out my favorite sneakers (only $80, but currently 40% off!!) for a pair of Ugg booties & threw on this Sail to Sable coat over my grey sweater-dress.
*STS coat is last season, but I think they’re coming out with a similar version soon!
Truth be told, I was VERY excited to pull out some of my sweaters (new and old) for this trip! I’m currently working on a blog post reviewing 3 new sustainably made cashmere sweaters. Stay tuned for it in the next week or two!
In case you missed it, one of my goals for this fall is for 80% of my clothing purchase to be sustainable. While all of my purchases will be made mindfully, I wanted to take things to the next level and challenge myself to mainly shop with sustainable companies. So far 100% of my shopping has been either sustainable OR with local/small businesses. I’m really happy with that! I’d love for you guys to challenge yourselves to shop with sustainable companies this fall! Let me know if this is something you decide to do! I’d love to discuss!
