I’m typically a little hesitant when it comes to jumping on board with trends. I mean, one moment they’re all over Instagram and the next moment you’re stuck with a bunch of velour jumpsuits that have “Juicy” plastered across the butt. Well, that trend is a bit dated, but you get the idea. This Burgundy trend though is something I am definitely on board with! Well, is it even really a trend? Can a color be a trend? I would lean towards no. Colors are colors, sometimes they’re more popular than others, but they can’t really be a trend, right?

Regardless of your stance on color trends, Burgundy is definitely this season’s it color and I’m obsessed.  Even more than that, I love how time and time again I’m seeing burgundy paired with more burgundy to create a monochromatic look. Adding to its versatility, it can even be treated as a neutral and paired with almost anything. In this look I’m keeping it simple with my favorites AG Jeans and OTK Goodnight Macaroon boots. the scoop: I love this Club Monaco sweater…okay…I love everything Club Monaco, but especially this sweater! I’m wearing an XS and love how it fits me (slightly loose), but I could definitely have gone up a size if I was looking for a more roomy fit. // These OTK boots are amazing! They are super affordable and comfortable (aka perfect). I’m wearing size 37 (which I believe is a size 6).
