Hello hello friends! Whether you’re dairy free (like me) or you just LOVE an easy-to-make, delicious dessert, then today’s blog post is definitely for you! I’m finally sharing this super easy 3 ingredient dairy free chocolate mousse. I’ve been indulging in this chocolate mousse a little more often than I probably should admit. Oops! It’s that good though. Keep scrolling for my recipe for this easy dairy free chocolate mousse.
This recipe is so easy to make that I usually end up whipping up a batch while making dinner if I know I’ll be in the mood for dessert later that night. The great thing about this recipe is that you get to control the portion size based on how much mousse you pour into each ramekin. (And also, the size ramekin you choose to use!) I get three servings out of the below recipe, which I know is a random number. Again, it’s so simple that I’d rather only make a couple instead of having a bunch sit in my fridge.
If you missed my cozy coastal kitchen reveal a couple of weeks ago, check it out here! I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It’s my new favorite place to hang out, so be prepared for lots more recipes on the blog!

Try these out at your next party or event, I promise they’ll be a crowd-pleaser! And no one will be able to tell they’re dairy free! However, I will say that people who really dislike coconut will probably be able to detect the coconut flavor from the cream. One way to mask the coconut flavor is by adding a little bit more vanilla extract than what I suggested below. Play around with it!
Pro Tip: Pair this dairy free chocolate mousse with Reddi-wip’s Non-Dairy Almond Milk Whipped Cream to take this dessert to the next level.
If you’re dairy free, Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips are my favorite. I’ve found that the mini chips make the smoothest mousse. If I use their mega chunks then the mousse turns out a little grainy. If you’re not dairy free, then just use any chocolate chips (the smaller the better). PRO TIP: Do your wallet a favor and order Enjoy Life off Amazon! It’s so darn expensive in stores. Even on sale I’ve only see it go down to $4 a bag (but they rarely go on sale). On Amazon you get 2 bags for under $8. Yay Amazon!!
