It’s Wednesday so you know what that means, I’m bringing you a little work outfit inspiration. I’m so excited to be sharing this dress by one of my favorite brands! Keep reading to find out why this is the perfect LBD!

Kate Spade, you’ve done it again. I have a good number of black dresses, and with my philosophy that navy is the better black I had no intention of adding yet another LBD to my wardrobe. Well that was before I knew this one existed!

A few weekends ago I did my mom a favor by returning a pair of shoes to Kate Spade. We all know where this is going…okay, it was less me doing her a favor and more of me using any excuse I could find to swing by one of my favorite stores! I’m so glad I did because I found the perfect LBD that is my new go-to work dress.

If this dress wasn’t cute enough it’s also super functional: the material is stretchy, doesn’t need to be dry-cleaned, it has pockets, and bell sleeves! I was able to get it for 20% off, since Kate Spade was having one of their “On Purpose” sales. If you don’t know about their On Purpose bags/accessories, well then let me tell you! Kate Spade is all about helping women better themselves, and they don’t just say they want to help women they actually do! Kate Spade has a specific line of products that are made by women in developing countries. These women, well actually they’re amazing artisans, are able to support themselves and their families! the scoop: I’m wearing a size xs in this dress and I probably could get away with wearing the xxs as this isn’t super tight (but again, it’s a work dress so the extra room is actually a good thing) // Louise et Cie shoes are known for being comfy, but these are by far the comfiest. I rarely wear heels, but these I’m able to walk around all day in! Wearing a size 6.5 // if you’re going to buy sunglasses, buy them from Sunglass Hut, they have the best sales associates and great customer service! [*they used to have the best return policy ever, within 90 days you could literally break your glasses in half and still return them for a new pair…they recently amended their policy so now it’s within 1 year you can get a new pair of glasses for 50% off if you damage them, or you can return them within 90 days if they are in perfect condition]
