Ever since moving into our apartment 6 months ago (oh my gosh, has it already been that long?!) I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect flatware. For some reason or another I’ve had my heart set on bamboo silverware, and believe it or not, finding the perfect set has been quite the task! Maybe I’m just really picky, but it was not easy to find utensils that A) looked nice and B) were made really well.
I finalllyyyy stumbled across the perfect set of bamboo silverware about a month or so ago, and ended up being gifted them for Christmas! How sweet!?

If you’re wondering what I’ve been using to eat these past 6 months, I promise you I haven’t been living off of plastic utensils! Stubbornly, I’ve been using a couple of pieces that I stole from my parent’s kitchen back in college. Oops! Needless to say, my silverware selection has been limited at best….

This might seem silly to you, and I get that, but for me I wasn’t about to settle on just anyyy silverware. I was looking for bamboo silverware that was comfortable to hold, not too heavy, but also not poorly made, and something that matched my style. All my plates and bowls and kitchenware have a personality, why shouldn’t my flatware?!

If you’re on the hunt for bamboo silverware then make sure you check out Pottery Barn! After searching so many different retailers I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Pottery Barn! They do have the set of 5 flatware in a natural bamboo finish, but I opted for the silver finish since it’s dishwasher safe (not that I currently have a dishwasher…but hopefully one day!). I do have to say, the natural bamboo serving utensils from Pottery Barn are really well made! I love how they compliment my flatware!

Now all I need is a good excuse to throw a dinner party so
I can use my new utensils!
