Hi Friends! I’m back and better than ever after visiting Nefaire the other day for a facial. WOW. My skin actually looks better than it has in a veryyy long time and I can barely believe it! By now you know I LOVE discovering new places, and Nefaire in Westport, CT is no exception. For me, I don’t make it back to Westport all thatttt often now that I live in Greenwich, but trust me when I say, it is so worth the drive! I’ll definitely be returning soon to get my next facial fix! I feel like after you get a Nefaire facial you won’t go back! Yes, it’s really that good!

Nefaire approaches skincare in a refreshing way. Instead of blending in, Nefaire stands out in it’s transparent approach to perfecting the facial. You literally walk into Nefaire and the ingredients for your facial are laid out on the counter! When you first walk into Nefaire for your apt, you’re going to sit down at their bar and fill out their skin quiz in order to help them identify how to best treat your skin during your facial. Reason number 1 on a list of many why Nefaire is awesome. I’ve never had a facial before where the person actually took time to get to know me and my skin. At Nefaire they actually care! (Hey, that rhymes!). But really, have you ever walked into a facial before and felt like they wanted to really know about your skin? Here at Nefaire they don’t limit you to an anti-aging vs. an acne facial. At Nefaire they take a comprehensive, natural approach to your skin and as a result, you end up with an outstanding final product (lemme break it down for you here: the. best. facial. ever.)!

After taking my skin quiz I was able to watch my esthetician craft my mask right in front of my eyes! How cool! She added charcoal, honey, and lots of other natural ingredients that were specially chosen based on the results from my skin quiz. Again, how cool!? Once the mask was mixed we made our way back to a super clean (you know how cleanliness is so important to me!) private room for my facial. I instantly felt more relaxed when I stepped into this room. It wasn’t too cold, but also not too warm where you’ll be sweating. After changing into my towel/robe thing I slipped under the covers to enjoy the next 60 minutes of my facial. Did I say it was amazing? Yep? Okay cool.

I’ve had a good number of facials in the past, and after this one at Nefaire, in hindsight all the other ones seem pretty sucky! Nefaire’s facial was comprehensive and attentive, while boasted both quality and quantity. I mean, is this real!? The esthetician accomplished so much during my hour-long facial. I got a double face cleanse, a steam, moisturizer, extraction followed by high frequency treatment (ummm I think I got the name of this right, but maybe not?…high frequency something? The purpose of this being to prevent bacteria from getting in your extracted areas), and so many more components that I can’t honestly remember all of them! But oh, I shouldn’t forget the extensive neck and back massage that I received while my face mask was setting. How many times can I say awesome in this blog post?

My journey with skincare hasn’t always been easy, well, it still isn’t. But thankfully places like Nefaire exist. Nefaire cares about its clients and cares about the quality of its product (facial!). [side note: they do massages too, but right now we’re focusing on the facials.] Walking out of Nefaire I couldn’t help but wonder, what if I’d had these facials as part of my routine years ago? Honestly, with the knowledge I gained during my hour facial (my esthetician and I had ourselves a nice long chat and I learned soooo much) paired with the top shelf experience, I am certain Nefaire would have made such a difference with my skin. Well, thank goodness I have them in my tool belt now!
