I love getting feedback from you guys and it sounds like you want more travel related posts! I’m loving it here in Boulder, CO. It’s kind of absolutely perfect…seriously! Day one consisted of a morning walk into town followed by an after-lunch 9 mile hike up/down Flagstaff Mountain. We were going to call for a ride at the bottom of the mountain, but didn’t have any cell service so we ended up waking three miles home. Oops!
Day two kicked it up a notch! Taking a rest day from hiking, I started my morning off with a Pure Barre Boulder class! Eeek! I love Pure Barre, eh, correction: I’m obsessed! I always love trying new Pure Barre studios when I’m traveling for two reasons: 1) I NEED to stay in PB shape and 2) I really enjoy meeting new people and experiencing the nuances to each studio. (While Pure Barre studios are basically the same from location to location they definitely all have their own sort of vibe/feel to them). Pure Barre Boulder was incredible! Everyone was so sweet and Hannah, the instructor, was incredible!
After Pure Barre, I had my usual breakfast (which I’ve had for the past 5 weeks on my sugar-detox: Justin’s Classic Almond Butter with fruit). Today it was especially suiting since I made my way over to Justin’s Headquarters right after breakfast. They are located right on Pearl Street in downtown Boulder! Their headquarters is so charming and so welcoming to anyone! You can literally walk off the street, stop on in, learn about the history of the company, and snag a sample packet or two! I think this could easily become my new happy place, endless supply of Justin’s products, a comfy couch, and the nicest people around! Oh, and I should mention, this post is in no way sponsored or in collaboration with Justin’s. I just LOVE everything about this brand and I want to share my excitement and experience with you all! I always share brands I can really stand behind on my blog and Justin’s is no exception. Although I have to say, I wish this was a sponsored post, how cool would that be?! Maybe one day…
As I referenced earlier, you can learn about the history of the company in their lobby; they have a bookshelf with lots of memorabilia and fun facts about their journey over the years. I also need to get my hands on Justin’s cook book! Did you know that exists? Well, it does! I had no idea that Justin’s current packaging wasn’t the original packaging. It looked so different when the company started out, but I definitely think they made the right move simplifying and streamlining the look of their brand. Now it’s so easy to spot a Justin’s product at any grocery store and the packaging is definitely timeless. [Side note- in case you haven’t tried this nut butter, the reason why I’m so obsessed is because it’s made with the least number of ingredients as possible. It’s as close to pure almond butter as you can get! The Classic Almond Butter contains almonds and palm oil. That’s it! Incredible! Part of my cleanse I’m currently doing is finding food options that are the least processed as possible and Justin’s checks off all the boxes!]
When I first walked into Justin’s Headquarters there was no one at the front desk, although I could see someone down the main hallway area. They have such sweet signs though telling you to grab a sample while you wait for someone to come back to the front desk. How kind! A minute or so later I was greeted with a warm welcome while I was happily just enjoying the charm and comfort of the space! It’s definitely the kind of place you’d want to spend an afternoon with friends, grab a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup (or twelve) and just hang! I can’t believe this is where people come to work each day! Jealous!
I am so grateful to Justin’s for generously giving me such great swag! I’m a HUGE fan of their company, their values, and their products! As I said earlier, I’ve literally been living off the Classic Almond Butter these past five weeks of my strict cleanse. It’s one of my main sources of protein and energy and it’s the kind of snack I never get tired of. (It’s also an amazing snack to take while hiking because the small single serve packets are easy to squeeze onto a piece of fruit or to just eat directly from the packet itself! Thank you Justin’s!
You might not be heading to Boulder anytime soon, but the next time you head to your grocery store check and see if they sell Justin’s! I promise they won’t disappoint!
