Hi everyone! I’m pretty excited about this post today because I collaborated with Jolie Gotique, which is a local business based in Greenwich, CT. You know I love local! Jolie Gotique has been around for the past two years and you’ll never guess what it is… it’s a fashion bus that comes to you! They do parties, fundraisers, and even personal styling sessions. How cool!? Penny, the owner of Jolie Gotique, who I met at my Pure Barre studio (Because where else?! That’s honestly the only place I meet people!) named the company after her daughter, So cute!
There’s a lot of things to love about Jolie Gotique, like the fact that the prices are pretty reasonable and you’re shopping brands that are a little less known in the Greenwich area so you’ll always be getting compliments from people who find your wardrobe unique! But most of all, I love how their selection encompasses so many different styles. Since I’m always honest with you guys, when Penny reached out to me about collaborating I was at first a bit hesitant since I thought Jolie Gotique was mostly edgier pieces. You know me, I’m about as edgy as a circle. That’s why I’m so glad to say boy was I wrong. There is such a variety to her selection! When I met with Penny to go through style options I found so many pieces I wanted to share with you guys and it wasn’t easy to narrow down!
Oh, and before I forget to mention- if you’re not in the Greenwich area or surrounding areas (I know Penny does a lot of stuff in Westchester County too!), you can shop Jolie Gotique online! Check them out here, and on their Instagram here! Now onto the outfit deets…I’m wearing a size XS in this top and it definitely fits TTS.
While off the shoulder tops are still very on-trend this season, I loved being able to mix it up a bit with this one shoulder piece. And, a huge benefit to it being one-shoulder rather than off both shoulders completely is not having to worry about my top falling down! Yay!! Really though, that reason alone makes this top the perfect piece for going out with your girlfriends. Who knows, maybe you end up at one of those restaurants that turns into a dance club sort of thing around 10/11:00pm? Maybe? Don’t tell me I’m the only one who has been to those kinds of restaurants!
There’s a lot of fun details to this blouse too aside from the neckline; I love the subtle ruffle detail along the bottom of the shirt and it has this funky fake sleeve thing going on! It kind of has the feel of a bell-sleeve, but instead of it being a bell sleeve, it’s a bit more flowy and has a slit completely down the middle. I love it though!

When styling this outfit two ways I had to go with the classic white jeans look, but added a slight twist by pairing this floral top with floral sneakers. Didn’t see that one coming did ya? I could do florals on florals on florals for days! As a second look, I decided to embrace the pink flowers in this top by adding a huge pop of pink to the outfit with this J.Crew skirt! I love how fun and over the top these two pieces look when paired together! If only I had an occasion to wear this outfit to!! (Side note- I firmly believe in creating occasions to wear outfits to. Saying you have nowhere to wear something is no excuse in my book!)
If you want to shop Jolie Gotique you’re in luck! Penny so generously extended a 10% discount to all my readers! The code is HELEN10 so check it out at www.joliegotique.com . My top is only $60 and it’s still available in sizes XS-M !! Shop it here!
