Hi friends! Things are starting to feel festive here in CT. From the snow on the ground to having my sister home, my heart is so full! I know I’m so lucky to be able to spend this year with my mom, dad, and sis in CT. While we won’t be able to celebrate Christmas with my extended family in North Carolina, we’ll be making the most of all we have here!

In doing so, my family and I planned an action-packed Christmas week full of FESTIVE-ities. Each of us was assigned a day to plan a challenge (scheduling done by yours truly…picture Amy Poehler in the Netflix movie “Wine Country”). Yesterday was my sister’s day so we all grabbed some frisbees and headed out to the park for a friendly disc-throwing competition. Not so surprisingly, I tied for last place with my mom.

Ranger won the award for fastest running in circles and Eddie (my parents’ new pup) was just happy to be there! In the coming days we’ll be competing in a Chopped Challenge, Jeopardy Night, and Wine Tasting. Not sure yet how we’ll be turning the wine tasting into a competition… stay tuned!

I know I’ve been a little quiet around here lately and I’m sorry for that. I promise I’ll be back and better than ever in 2021 with bells on! That’s the saying, right? And as promised, I’ll be sharing some excited news soon!!

Lastly, and most important, thank YOU for hanging out with me, supporting me, and being a part of this community. I’m so grateful for you (because let’s be honest, Style Inherited wouldn’t be here without ya!) and I promise to show up for you in 2021.
